Two things so different, yet so similar…
Before you ask, it’s not suppose to make sense.

(For those of you wondering why I’m always updating this post, it’s so I have a convenient spot for backgrounds on my Pouetpu Games.com account, also, one of the pics in this post broke my blog.)
Geuss what? I’ve got 300 site views! Yay! I didn’t think that this silly little blog would get that many views so soon…
Well, here’s a little treat for you guys, then. Thanks!
I know I didn’t make the pic myself, but I had to put it in because it was so cool.
Next milestone: 500 views.
Nintendo hasn’t given us any info on the next Super Smash Bros game other than the fact that’s it’s going to happen. I figured I’d suggest a few characters for the game.
Miis
One of the most surprising things of SSBB (Super Smash Bros Brawl) was that you could not play as your Mii. Hopefully you can in the next one (cause you know, that’d be cool).
Shadow The Hedgehog
Sonic was in SSBB as an unlockable character, in the next game, I think I’d like to see Shadow in there, except that he doesn’t have to be unlocked (you have no idea how much of a chore it is trying to unlock one character out of 12 or so other unlockable guys).
Waluigi
actually, Waluigi was in SSBB as an assist trophy, but he should really be a full-on playable character. He just hasn’t been in much other games then the sports games.
The Skylanders
Who wouldn’t want to play as the Skylanders in Smash Bros? they’re awesome!
Bionicles
I own a lot of Bionicles, and I think it would be cool to play as them and watch ‘em beat up Nintendo characters.
Daisy
Daisy has not ever been in a Smash Bros game before (and no, the Peach pallet-swap that makes Peach look like Daisy doesn’t count), so I think she should have a shot at fighting.(Hey, Peach can can do it just fine! Wich makes you wonder why she doesn’t in the Super Mario games! Mabie she’s secretly dating Bowser.)
Angry Birds
Angry Birds are super popular right now, so why not have them try their might against the other Smash Bros fighters?
Miles “Tails” Prower
As I said, Sonic was in SSBB as an unlockable fighter, but as far as I know, his friend Tails wasn’t. Tails has already taken a shot at brawling (look up “Sonic Fighters” and “Sonic Battle”), so he’d be perfect for Smash Bros.
Tom Nook (from Animal Crossing)
I hardly know who Tom Nook is (I don’t play Animal Crossing), but his racoon tail makes him look like he’s ready to swip some enemies with it. (Like how Mario does with his Tanooki Suit.)
Black Doom (from Shadow The Hedgehog)
Black Doom’s attacks would translate perfectly into a Smash Bros character. Besides, he’s such a cool villain.
Well, there you go. So what guys do you want to see in the next Smash Bros? Feel free to tell me in the comments!
Hi! I’m back! This poor site’s been neglected recently. This is a post I ment to put up at the start of the year, but I forgot.
These are my predictions for 2012:
1: The WiiU will have a Mario or Zelda launch title so it gets of to a good start.
2: The 3DS will overshadow the PSvita because it’s better.
3: SEGA will announce Shadow The Hedgehog 2 for the WiiU.
4: The next Smash Bros. will be released and cause a big increase for 3DS sales.
5: Shelby Coulter of Nintendo Okie will buy a 3DS.
That last one is really just a joke, but you know how I know he will? Well, I think I remember him saying “Kid Icaris: Uprising is one of my most anticipated titles of the year…” That game is a 3DS exclusive, so, he would have to buy a 3DS to play it!
I’ll explain the first prediction to. The 3DS kind-of stumbled out of the gate because of the lack of a Mario or Zelda launch title,so it would make sense for Nintendo to learn not to release a handheld or console without a Mario or Zelda launch title.
For number two, this is just judging from the sales in Japan (not that good), I don’t know for sure, but I have a good feeling ’bout this one.
For number three, this is just me hoping for a sequel. I’ve beaten the first game, wich was pretty darn good (see my review), I really think SEGA should make another one.
And for number four, Nintendo hasn’t given’ us any info of the Super Smash Bros. coming to 3DS and Wii-u, other than that’s going to happen. Let’s hope the 3DS game comes this year.
So there are my predictions for the year 2012. What about you? What are YOUR predictions for the year? Post 5 of ‘em (no more or less than 5) in the comments, and at the end of the year, I’ll put them with mine, and score us based on how well we did!
I know it’s a little late to say, but, happy new year! Let’s hope the world doesn’t end!
EDIT: Still no predictions? Comeone, guys!
It’s the start of a new year, time to make resolutions. Most people do, and some follow through with them. These are the ones I think some video game heroes should make.
Gordon Freeman[Below} (Half-Life series): Take lessons in public speaking.
Mario(Super Mario series): Buy a security system for Mushroom Kingdom
Toad(Super Mario series): Stop shaving his chest.
Alyx (Half-Life series): Get clothes that fit.
Sonic The Hedgehog(Sonic series): Eat enough chili dogs to get back his old bot-belly look from the Genesis days.
Luigi (Super Mario series): Stop letting Mario hog the spotlight.
Princess Peach (Mario series): Take a lesson or two in self-defense.
Big the Cat (Sonic series): Write himself out of the series history.
Dr. Eggman (Sonic series): Stop building robots with clear weaknesses.
Shadow The Hedgehog (Sonic series): Teach Sonic how to avoid losing all his rings when he gets hurt.
Civil "Protection" Units [Left] (Half-life series): Learn to take cover (see my review of Half-life 2).
And my New Year resolutions:
1)Convince SEGA to make Shadow The Hedgehog 2.
2)Play more games.
Happy New Year!

Doppleganger? I’m one.
What is a game you like, but everyone else says is terrible The original Red Steel game.
Who in the video game making industry do you want to meet? Shigeru Miyamoto (who wouldn’t? That guy’s legendary), Jeremiah Slaczka, Reggie Fils-Aime, and the guy who made Kirby.
Gaming history: I’ve been playing ever since I was created (see “Evil Doppleganger Alert!” post”)! My first experience was with Shadow The Hedgehog, and I quickly escaped into the real world. I’ve always enjoyed video game worlds better than the real world for the most part, though.
what you need to know:
Released in 2005 for the Gamecube, PS2 and Xbox, Shadow The Hedgehog puts you in control of, uh, Shadow The Hedgehog, who is suffering from amnesia and must collect the 7 Chaos Emeralds to regain his memory of his past. The way you play (completing dark, normal or hero missions) determines the games ending.
This review is to also help celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Sonic series.
It’s Shadow in his own game!
The first time I saw him in Sonic Adventure 2: Battle, he quickly became one of my favorite characters in the Sonic series. I like that he gets his own game.
Graphics are really good
The cinematics in particular are really good. You can really see a lot of detail on the characters. Like the fur on Shadow or Dr. Eggman’s mustache or shine on the aliens. The in-game graphics, well not AS good, are still pretty good.
Swearing
This is the first and only sonic game that I know of where some of the characters actually swear. It’s also the only really big problem I had with the game. Thankfully, the swear words are kept only to the “d” word and “h” word, but it still kind of irks me…
Great action and speed
Whats a Sonic game without speed? Not much, really. Shadow The Hedgehog does a good job of keeping the speed the games are known for. It’s really cool to watch Shadow run massive loop-de-loops, go flying above huge pits and grind across thin steel beams over bottomless pits.
The action is also great. In this game the developers finally let Shadow pick up and use the guns that fall off of the enemies, so you give them a taste of their own medecine. Shadow can also drive cars now, instead of only being able to destroy them. And if you don’t like that, most of the time the guns and cars are optional.
Minor complaints
First off is that most of the stages that take place on the A.R.K. are way to slow and maze-like, the camera can sometimes take a bad position. And although it’s neat that you can decide whether to play as a hero or villain there are some problems with this. Let’s say for example you decide in the middle of the stage to change from playing the hero mission to playing the dark mission, when you do though, the guys on the dark side will still attack you. It’s rather annoying to have to navigate past your so-called “allies” to stay alive. These aren’t very big complaints, though.
Judgment:
Shadow The Hedgehog is a pretty good game. There are flaws present, and I don’t like how some of the characters swear, and that’s the main thing that prevents this game from getting a five-star rating, but you should definitely get this game if you’re a Sonic fan. Prehaps the flaws in this game could be fixed in a 3D Classics version or, better yet, a long over-due sequel.
final rating: Four and a half stars; pretty good.
Played though the entire game over several years.
yesterday was Thanksgiving day, as you all know. I went to a Thanksgiving party at Alyx’s apartment that day. I thought I’d give you all an overview of the party. (This was in between the making of the next Half-life game by the way.)
The party was supposed to start at 10:30, but traffic was horrible and I made there about 30 mins late. And everyone, except Eli, was already there when I arrived.
We decided to play a game around 11:30, but we couldn’t settle on a game to play, which resulted in a WWF Wrestlemania style over-the-top wrestling match. Luckily, 2 mins into it Eli showed up and stopped it, and we settled on Wii U Sports, and Barney cooked the Headcrab.
At about 1:30 Thanksgiving dinner was ready, but, Barney had swapped the cooked Headcrab for Kleiner’s pet, Lammar! fortunately, Lammar woke-up right before Barney cut into him. unfortunately, Lammar went into a rage and tried to attack Alyx, trashing her outfit in the process.
Me and Grigori tried playing through the co-op mode in Shadow The Hedgehog ,which nether of us have beaten (and I’m currently writing a review of), to knock one of our “Unbeaten Games Hall of Shame”, we failed, but we found one crazy glitch in the game; for some reason, Shadow had unlimited ammo for every gun in the Death Ruins stage, and the Westopolis music played in the background instead of the Death Ruins music! (disclaimer: this party did not happen in real life and I have actually beaten Shadow The Hedgehog, and to my knowledge, this glitch does not exist in real life.)
We wanted to watch football at 3:00, but there was a power outage right about then, and the TV lost the signal. So instead, we played many Wii U games.
At about 7:00, it was time to leave.
So there you have it, that was my Thanksgiving.
Here are some photos from the party( notice: photos not listed in order):
